Emily and Susan have a combined 38 years of experience writing and editing in a professional capacity across the academic, government, nonprofit, and private sectors.

TRAINING | Emily and Susan both received their writing training at Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism—Emily with a specialization in broadcast journalism, and Susan in print journalism. We went on to earn our Master’s degrees at Georgetown University—Emily in the School of Foreign Service’s Security Studies Program and Susan in the McCourt School of Public Policy.
